Companionship
Not everybody has family members who live local to be able to assist with tasks that are usually taken for granted.
We are here to provide a friendly face, and good chat to brighten the day, especially for those without easy access to transport or with mobility challenges. In addition, we can provide escorted outings, whether a social outing to keep up with a hobby, enjoy a change of scenery, café or restaurant, as well as trips to healthcare professionals. Companionship visits can also provide much needed rest breaks for family carers, meaning they can leave a loved one with peace of mind they are in safe hands.
What we can assist with could include:
- Arranging and taking to appointments
- Accompanying shopping or on outings
- Reading mail and correspondence
- Encouraging and assisting with hobbies and interests
